Music for the Seasons: Volume I / 2024

Music for the Seasons is an on-going series of ambient albums celebrating accidental instances of beauty and states of mind created by the elements at different hours of the day and in different types of weather throughout the year.

This first instalment - volume I - features slow-evolving ambient landscapes formed by warm analog sounds, intricate loops and distant piano motifs blended with aethereal vocals in an intimate love letter to the winter season.

DO YOU STILL ASK ABOUT ME (Original Short Film Soundtrack) / 2022

Original soundtrack EP for Do You Still Ask About Me — a short film directed by Daniel Bott.

Featuring signature sounds such as tranquil piano lines and beautifully immersive strings, this release contains two versions of the same piece — the opening scene music and an extended, haunting version of itself.

HUEY (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) / 2021

The original score for Huey, an independent feature film directed by Brenden Singh, exploring a failed writer’s declining mental health.

From handcrafted glitches and lo-fi samples to lush piano themes, the music follows Huey's moral descent throughout his journey of self-discovery. Featuring a diverse sonic palette, the soundtrack draws influence from Romantic and Baroque music, shining a contemporary light on its classical elements.

THE HEAVY NOW / 2020

The Heavy Now is an ambient exploration of the pandemic and its effects on the human psyche, focusing on memory and nostalgia as an oasis for self-reflection.

It was commissioned by the Greater Manchester Combined Authority to become part of the city's cultural archive of creative responses to the pandemic. It consists of a dystopian soundscape, a hyperbolic depiction of one’s mental state under lockdown, bookending a contrasting mental space and sonic palette — an escape from the heavy now that offers a much-needed oasis for self-reflection.

POEMS: A COLLABORATION
IN SPACE AND TIME
/ 2020

Poems - A Collaboration in Space and Time is a sonic exploration of Mihai Eminescu's charming world of poetry as translated by Corneliu M. Popescu in his 1978 volume, Poems.

Throughout this album, poems are used as the starting point to the compositional process, either as spoken word performance or in song form. From the haunting, ritual-like chants of Guardian Angel, to the glitchy textures of You Never Knew My Soul, this album explores 19th century poetry from unexpected musical perspectives.
